Abundant Grace Community Church’s Leadership Team
 Phil Courson, Sr. Pastor
Phil Courson serves as Senior Pastor of Abundant Grace Community Church. He and his wife Kay have been married for 25 years and have five children, Stephen, Brandon, Tyler, Zachary and Kayla.
Phil has been involved in full-time ministry for more than 20 years. After six years of ministry in a major Pentecostal denomination, he and Kay returned to Orlando and became a part of Metro Life Church. After a year and a half of serving in the local church the leadership team asked Phil and his family to go to the Sovereign Grace Ministries' School of Ministry (now known as the Pastor's College) - an intensive year of theological and ministry training in Gaithersburg, MD.
After returning, Phil served on staff as a part of the leadership team at Metro Life Church giving oversight to the youth, singles, prophetic and evangelism ministries, as well as new comers follow-up.
After seven years on the leadership team they were sent out in the fall of 1997 to lead a church plant here in Gainesville, Florida.

 Mike Gilland, Pastor/Worship Leader
Mike Gilland joined the leadership team at AGCC in June of 2002 as a pastor and worship leader. Prior to that date, Mike had been a pastor on the staff at Metro Life Church since 1987. During those years, Mike was involved in pastoral care, led Metro's worship team as well as giving oversight to their drama, graphics, and video ministries. He also gave direction for several years to Metro's follow-up and evangelism teams.
Mike led AGCC's charge in building a permanent facility on the site of our church property on 39th Avenue. Abundant Grace moved into its new facility in January of 2008. He also currently oversees many of Abundant Grace’s service teams,
He and Cindy were married in 1976, and they lead a CareGroup, They have four children - Stephanie Jessee (living in Orlando with her husband Chris), David (a UF graduate also living in Orlando), and Angela and Allison, both Santa Fe students.. Mike & Cindy are also grandparents, as Stephanie and Chris have two sons and a daughter.
