The following pictures were taken earlier in the process.
August 16th - Our east side classroom walls!
the Our stage, and A/V boxes - the concrete top will be poured during the week of Aug. 20.

Almost the same view, but taken August 1.
The following pictures are much older - scan on downwards all the way to Groundbreaking Day!
This view of our auditorium floor shows the slightly recessed area - where the wood basketball flooring materials will go.
This view is looking westward over the same area - the dirt on the top left is where the stage will be built up, and ultimately another concrete pour will fill it in, along with the steps that go up to the stage level.
The metal building is now on our property, lying in bundles. Erecting of the building could start as soon as Wednesday, July 11.
The workers prepared for the “jack and bore” process - this was necessary to tie onto the county water line that runs on the opposite side of our property on 39th Avenue. These big pipes were driven under the road. Once in place, water lines are then ran inside, connecting our property to county water.
This picture shows the pipe being hydraulically driven into the soil under 39th Avenue. This process was amazing!
On the opposite side of our property (the far back right side), a huge mound is created and pipes are laid - all part of the septic system drain field.
The next day, Van Goettling Masonry was on the property, preparing the initial markers for the footers. Van is a member of AGCC, and is one of our sound engineers!
The floor of our auditorium is being prepared for the sub-floor system...conduits that hold electrical, sound, and lighting control wire is all in place, as well as plumbing pipes. Our sub-floor system was approved by the county on Thursday, June 14.
Two of AGCC’s finest are working on the stem wall on the front of the building - Bill Latsko and Van Goettling!
The house was demolished on Wednesday, Feb. 28 - it went down in 24 minutes! Please pray for our contractors - Scherer Construction.

Our worship team led us in singing under the tent...
By the way - that is the REAL Billy Latsko (#42) from the National Champion Gators football team playing drums...at Mike’s request, Billy wore his team colors as we honored him in the groundbreaking service. Billy has since gotten married, and is with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
